Simply select your preferred method, either gasoline or LPG, and power on the generator using the electric start. Propane provides the generator with 4350 surge and 3500 running watts while gasoline creates up to 4750 surge and 3800 running watts. Our packed panel features two 120-Volt GFCI outlets (5-20R), a NEMA 30 Amp twist lock (L14-30R), a 12-Volt DC cigarette-lighter-style plug, and a voltage selector to switch between 120-Volt and 240-Volt depending on the task at hand. Run your lights, TV, refrigerator, sump pump, power tools or other essentials with ease. The wheel and handle kit makes transportation easier than ever while the included 47 in. I purchased this generator 1 year ago and it now has 2844 hours run time. I’ve not had 1 problem with it. I will be buying another as a gift for a friend who had used it on jobsites with no power.

We started running this generator from day one. We use it everyday and after 4700 hours use only had to replace the brushes. Very simple to do. We plan to purchase another WEN generator.this summer.

I helped my neighbor unpack and assemble the Wen generator. While assembling the unit I noticed one of the generator mounts broken. So I repacked the unit and UPS picked it up. After receving credit, my neighbor like it (the size of it) so he ordered the same make and model. A week later UPS delivered the new unit. Now I am real concerned that this one will be broken as well because me being in the fabrication trade I noticed the cast aluminum mount is cheaply made. So I opened the box upside down and checked that area first without even removing the unit from the box. Well, guess what? That mount was broken as well. Most people will not notice it because the generator and engine sits on rubber mounts and has movement anyway. So too all who has bought this unit check your generator mounts. Wen is being notied of this design flaw….

electric start is appreciated for us oldies——noise level is far above the 67 dba advertised—-will be getting a better muffler’ starts and will fill my needs—-assembly well spelled out and easy 30 minute task

I received my generator in a timely fashion and it was exactly as seen online. The assembly didn’t take long at all about 30-45min. I have not had to use it yet but they are calling for snow the end of this week so we shall see!!

Overall seems to be a nice machine. Easy to start and works well. The electrical plugs that came with it need to have the ground lugs marked green, mine did not have. Someone with no knowledge of electrical would find themselves in trouble.All in all happy with my purchase though.
