I use this for our outdoor bistro and it works excellently. However, it’s mounted in a waterproof storm shell, within a custom built cedar cabinet. It is east to see in the sunlight and the picture is great. Excellent product.

PROS: Great Cyber Monday price. Connecting to wifi was easy. As expected it delivers a great Samsung quality Full HD picture. Color is good right out of the box but using the Natural color setting is perfect for our particular viewing set up.
The 20W speaker output is more than adequate for a small room but we also bought a Samsung All-in-One sound bar with bluetooth music mode. We use the included optical out cable for the tv sound and that allows us to also pair the speaker with two different iPhones for streaming audio.
CONS: The Smart Hub is pretty clunky. Also this model (at least from the Best Buy inventory that ours came from) does not have the Hulu app built-in nor can it be downloaded within the hub. We spent time on the phone with Samsung who sent us to Best Buy and Hulu tech support. All reps were great, but baffled by the issue and couldn’t find or force the app to download remotely.
We are a high speed Xfinity internet only home. No TV service. So our work around is simple and perfect for us. We only use the hub via Samsung remote for switching between inputs sources (a Chromecast and a Leaf antenna). We use the Leaf and Samsung remote to watch local broadcast tv. For all of our streaming subscriptions we cast from an old unused iPhone 7 Plus like a dedicated casting remote. Switching between apps as well as app navigation and interaction (volume, pausing, rewinding, fast forward, etc) is superior and we use mobile app data saver options to boot!

I purchased the Samsung 40” smart TV for my pool house and it fits perfect in the space. I wanted a good size TV one that’s not too big and not too small where the space would look to be swallowing it up or so big where that’s all you see. I love it.

This smart TV is awesome! It comes with several streaming apps I use and the built in browser was a nice surprise. I set it up in my garage and it looks and sounds great.

Easy to set up. User friendly screen icons. The remote is a bit small to avoid fat finger when entering text on screen. Tweaked the sound and picture…..wow, it has awesome picture and very good sound from built in speakers. Overall, very pleased with this Samsung TV.

Got this tv at the great price of $150 right before Christmas. I really like the crispness of the picture as well as how clear the sound is. Perfect size for my bedroom. Has free tvplus and constant vevo videos!!
The fact that I don’t need to use the hdmi port is a plus. I also like how I can control it from my phone. My only complaint is the lag between the remote and the tv as well as the remote having to be pointed directly at the tv to register. Other than that, I love my new tv!!

This tv was a surprise gift for my husband for Christmas. He was very surprised and overjoyed because he was watching the games in another room on a little monitor, if you can believe it. He was complaining about his eyes burning. So I decided to buy this for him, he has been enjoying this tv every since. Looks like it was a good and bad deal. Good because he loves it and bad because now I never see him. Lol it’s all good.
The Geek Squad came promptly on time, wore their masks, and quietly and with precision mounted the tv in place and was finished No fuss, no mess. Nicely done. Thank you.

Was looking for a new tv, since the one I had in the kitchen passed away, while I was at the store looking at the TVs, this kind salesman approached me and suggested for a little bit of cash you can get a better and bigger deal so I say, ok show me the tv without thinking I told him I take it, pay for it and walk away with a smile..

This TV has a beautiful picture and great quality for price. Easy setup and menu navigation. Only problem I have is that Alexa devices are a little buggy with it and will not connect correctly. Other than that it is a great value for $200 and cannot be beat. Samsung is by far the best TV brand money can buy.

I’ve had this tv for 6 years I bought it in 2014 for my bedroom when it was new. It’s been a great tv I love this thing but it’s become pretty frustrating watching Hulu I can’t uninstall and reinstall apps on this tv so Hulu blacks out on me (goes in and out on some shows) and in order to fix the issue Hulu says I have to uninstall their app and reinstall. I’ve also noticed it doesn’t play clips of the shows or movies like my phone does or the newer TVs do on Netflix like the tv I have in my living room just small things I’ve started to notice over the past year. I think it’s just getting outdated and newer TVs are starting to surpass it. If you want a good cheap tv that works great for kids room or bedroom this one is perfect just know there are small things that you will notice compared to more updated TVs that is the only reason I took off a star but if this review was made 6 years ago when it was still a brand new tv it would have been full stars because it was up to date with the time. Picture and sound are great even for now and it will last years to come, mine has.

I really like the Samsung Tv free channels. Comparable to Pluto tv but built in. No app needed. Ads for Sling say it should be as well but it’s not. The Tv should pick up the remote control more easily. Drops the WiFi connection regularly, but I am using a portable hotspot so that may be part of the reason. Decent picture and the sound is more than adequate enough. I keep it on 12 and it is loud enough for my liking. Navigation and menus are easy to figure out and the antenna channels and Samsung channel menus are connected. No need to search around. I have an Amazon Fire tv hooked up to the same antenna and get more and better quality channels on the Samsung TV. All in all I am happy with my choice to add this tv to my repertoire.
