It took me a while to review many camera styles and manufacturer brands. This one was in the top 4 that I was interested in. Two of the ones I wanted was no longer being Nikon. This Nikon brand was a better fit for me than the other one on my list. This camera seemed to have it all and it was not that expensive. It fits well in my hand, not heavy and all the features are great! I love the zoom. I cannot believe how close I can get to my subjects. The manual focus is wonderful. This is one of the reasons I decided to get this camera. I wanted to be able to focus at my subjects when needed, and not have to go into a specific menu to push a button for manual focus. That is dumb. Of course, it also has easy controls to use as well as easy to use menu buttons. I just love it. Yes, I would definitely recommend this Sony Camera!

Great zoom for far away shots. Great stabilization (my hands shake a lot) for clear, crisp pictures.

It is a very good quality camera as anything made by nikon we have. I like everything about it except quality of moving objects shots. My old Olympus camera still makes a better job with those.

This camera is wonderful if you don’t want all the whistles and bells that most people don’t understand if they’re not professionals. The pictures are so clear. The video is even amazing, especially with the zoom. I wish it did have a removable battery but it’s not that big of a deal. So easy to use. Take it out of the box and start shooting. Super cool features if you take a little time to learn them.

I am going to a concert soon and they only allow fixed lense cameras. Obviously I wanted as much optical zoom as possible. This was the clear choice. Don’t buy this thinking it will equate to a high end DSLR.. you get what you pay for BUT compared to all cameras in its class, this is the best. The value you get is pretty incredible considering the quality of image and features. The zoom is stable and very good. I was able to take a picture of the moon and see fine details and craters. Low light pictures so far has not been an issue also. Picture quality is good. Haven’t had the “grainy” effect like some other reviews have mentioned. All in all, this camera is the best value for the money.

Researched many cameras before this purchase. Most confusing and difficult decision. The very last one I considered. Having to stay within budget made the choice much tougher. If all info is correct, this will be one extremely outstanding camera. Have not had time to really get much picture-taking done yet. We’ll see!
