To give some background I had been looking for a large more powerful Bluetooth Speaker as I already own several small Bluetooth speakers as well as the JBL Pulse 3. And I learned that between my JBL pulse and other branded Bluetooth speakers that the JBL has a extremely noticeable difference in audio quality! I researched and compared the JBL PartyBox On The Go, Boombox 100, 300 and 310. I finally decided on the 310 because it had a handle and wheels making it easier to move around the house (in doors or outdoors and Garage) plus unlike the others it had an IPX4 water resistant rating and as I live in Florida sudden rain showers and splashes around our swimming pool could be an issue and I didn’t want to panic if it got splashed or rained on suddenly! The IPX4 gives me peace of mind that it can take a little water and give me time to get it out of the rain. I also chose the 310 over the 100 as it has a much larger internal battery than the 100 and the 310 can run on Battery, AC and DC Power while the 100 only runs off it’s battery so if the battery stops working you can’t use the speaker. I have played the 310 on battery for between 4-7hrs and still had quite a bit of charge left on the battery (Speaker volume between 40-70% and level 1 Bass Boost and no light show). I chose the 310 over the 300 as the 310 is IPX4, has a handle and wheels and the interactive JBL PartyBox App for my iPhone XR! The sound on this 310 is simply amazing it is so clear and the Bass is amazing! In MHO it’s worth spending a bit more to get the added features over the partybox 100 and 300. Plus spend the extra $$$ to get the JBL sound performance so you won’t have any regrets later! I used this speaker allot over the Holidays and wether playing Christmas Music or Jamming our for New Years Eve this Speaker does not disappoint and has amazing sound and really shakes the house!! I highly recommend this Speaker and our Family Loves it……it’s exactly what I was looking for!!

Great base and sound quality! We bought this speaker for my husband for his birthday and he loves it! The kids plug microphones into it and sing karaoke with it. The changing colors are a lot of fun too!

I bought this to use as a dedicated sound system for my home gym… this thing shakes the house at 50% volume. I have it plugged in the majority of the time so I can not speak to battery life. I have brought it upstairs and used it outside some. I kept the volume below 75% because I didn’t want to disturb the neighbors. Only downfall is it is 40lbs! I like the wheels but it doesn’t help lugging it upstairs.. I can’t complain because I knew this coming In to the purchase. All around a great product and phenomenal sound quality as you would expect from JBL. Highly recommend!

Bought this as a gift for my wife. We had a smaller party speaker for outside but when that one stopped working after several years I decided to upgrade to this one. Compared to the PB300 I believe the battery life was better and had faster charging time. A BIG plus was the fact that this was IPX4 splash resistant and with this speaker being around our pool (and the cost of the speaker), this seemed like a no-brainer.
With the JBL app, you can alter the light effects and the party buttons for other sounds. My wife, my kids, and everyone that comes over loves the sound it produces and the features that come with the speaker. I can only image having 2 of these and pairing them. That would be awesome!

Love this speaker I use for little gathering/kick back/parties/karaoke (have echo control), speaker last about 7-8 hours on max volume, last about 18-20 hours at 50% volume which is more than enough, it’s very loud an bass sound great when “Bass boost” is off and better when on, it have 3 different level of bass boost. I have the 300 use I sold to get this, I use to lug around the 300 due to it not having a rolling wheel, this 310 do and a collapsible handle bar. When I don’t have to guest over, I use it for my gaming on PC it sound Great, getting another one soon for its pairing to have stereo sound.

I received this from JBL and this is the best speaker I’ve ever owned. Extreme bass that can be adjusted how you like. You can feel the bass even 200 feet away. Great for outdoor/garage birthday parties, cookouts, events, etc. Amazing quality and very tough, nice buttons and ports. The app also works flawlessly and very fast/responsive. The lights effects aren’t ‘too much’ to be annoying and if you don’t want them you can turn them off. Very, very, very loud speaker and amazing sound overall.

Huge bass. My 14 year old son loves this thing. I’m so glad we went with the 310 and not the 300 because of the handle and nice wheels for mobility alone. Battery last longer than stated which is great. We use this speaker indoors and outdoors all the time. This speaker is made of good quality materials. The light colors are sweet.

I bought my first 310 when it was released at the end of October 2020. It was everything I was looking for in a portable speaker. I wanted something with good sound quality and decent bass. This speaker exceeded my expectations! The sound quality is excellent and there’s more bass than I expected. I use it a lot in my work van since the factory radio is awful, you can really feel the bass in the cab. I’ve also taken it to a couple of jobsites (I’m in construction), but only ones I know the speaker is pretty safe from getting damaged. But I have received a lot of compliments on how good the speaker sounds. I have had multiple people ask the price, and hesitate about it, but then as I show them the light show, the app, the pullout handle, the wheels, and of course they’re hearing the sound quality, they say they’re probably going to buy one. Most of the time, when you bring a speaker to a jobsite, people just go with it and listen to whatever as background noise, but with this speaker, everyone always has to come check it out.
This speaker is so good, I had to hear it paired together with another so I bought a second one. Two of them together sound great with the same sound signature, but now with an expanded stereo field. And everything is very easy to do in the app. I turn on the speakers and the one pairs with my phone right away, I go to the Partybox app, click on TWS, the second speakers shows up so I click on that, and stereo. You can switch to just party mode, where they both play as two mono speakers. If you push on either speaker icon it’ll light up so you can see which one is the Left or Right channel.
There are two levels of Bass Boost. It sounds like Bass Boost 1 is for more lower bass, and Bass Boost 2 is more mid bass. I keep mine locked on Bass Boost 1 as I like the lower frequency bass better.
Anyway, the Partybox 310 is an awesome speaker. If you’re on the fence, just get it, you’ll be happy.

Previously had the JBL PartyBox 300’s and had major issues with them like TWS (True Wireless Stereo paring) Harmon / JBL parent Company couldn’t sort out! Glad I returned them after replacing them twice. Working with Best Buy I got them replaced with the the 310’s instead. The JBL PartyBox 310’s are so superior to the 300″s It fixes all / most of the connectivity issues and a few more gadgets / like wheels (portability) and water resistance features and more that only come on the 310’s. It’s like the 300’s were a beta test for what needed to be addressed and the 310’s are the new standard. People may say it’s not worth the extra money (list price is the same for both models) for the newer 310’s but when using two or more of them together the 310’s work as advertised and the 300’s do NOT deliver.
