    A must need if your a music enthusiastic. It has excellent quality and bass. It is expected with being made by Harmon Kardon. I expected high quality. It almost has the bass part but it has the sound loudness like the new Amazon Echo 4th gen.

    I had the JBL Flip-4 before i purchased this one. Its the same sound quality although the BASS is better. However, unlike the jbl flip 4 this one gas an exposed plug in rather than a cover that the 4 has. It also has one strip that lights up for battery power which is hard to tell where the lights at, instead of the easier 3 dots on the 4. Also instead of a REGULAR charhing cord it has its own cord that is inconvenient. I think other thsn the bass being louder the 4 was designed better.

    I bought the JBL-Flip 5 to replace my JBL-Flip 4 that was adopted by my wife to use while video conferencing from her laptop. The volume and fidelity are adequate for music and speech. I also use it for live and Zoom band rehearsals to amplify the metronome apps on my phone so the whole band can hear. The long battery life and compact size are a big plus.

    I love this bluetooth speaker i’m using it for like 2 weeks now and i’m already in love. It connect with your phone really fast and it’s not to big to fit in a bag. The only thing that i’m kinda disappointed of is that the new future that its not connect+ compatible. Witch means you can’t connect him with an older box like the flip 4 or the charge 3. If you want your flip 5 to connect with an other box you need partyboost. For the rest it has a great sense of acoustics. The delivery was kinda long but i like that there was a track and trace.
    I will highly recommend this bluetooth speaker.

    I got this speaker to have for travel and outdoor use. It’s nice and compact, easily fitting into my backpack inside or strapped via the attached cable. The sound quality is good enough to fill an outdoor area. I was impressed that it was able to operate normally even while submerged in the water. It charges via USB-C which is nice.

    That being said the sound quality is not extraordinary, I find that the bass emphasis can be a bit much. I also dislike the fact that it doesn’t have an auxiliary input making bluetooth it’s only form of connection. This is okay because the pairing process is super easy but it would have been nice to include an analog input method.

    Got this for a family friend staying at the hospital. He watches movies to pass the time but his default computer speakers were drowned out by the beeps and hisses of medical equipment. He had this speaker in the past and when he transferred hospitals and lost his previous speaker, asked me to replace it right away. The styling is great, portable and powerful, just a great value over all.

    I have been buying a JBL Bluetooth speakers every year for the past 6 years. Every year they get progressively better and the Flip 5 did not disappoint. This is the best sounding Flip yet. The sound is definitely crisper/clearer than the previous year and is able to compete with the much higher priced Bluetooth speakers. In addition, I can daisy chain my JBL speakers together for additional volume if needed. This is the best bang for the buck by far in Bluetooth speakers.

    I have two Bose Bluetooth speakers attached to two MEE Bluetooth audio transmitters. Easy setup with excellent sound. BUT, I decided to try the new JBL Flip 5, first because of price, but secondly because my JBL car speakers produce excellent sound. I am not disappointed. The JBL Flip 5 Bluetooth speaker produces excellent sound quality at all ranges. I do not hear any harmonic distortion at any range. Super speaker for the price and easily pairs with my MEE audio connector. Go JBL

    This is a gift for my mother who is in the Rehab at the moment but I tried it out and I think it’s going to work well for me and her. She is hard of hearing and this puts the sound track from the TV near her bed. Now the roar of her TV won’t keep me awake as her TV is by the bedroom door which is right across the hall from my bedroom door 5 feet from my bed. I spent many a wakeful night because of her TV selection (murder mysteries) this will help me have sweet dreams.

    I was at a Bestbuy store and listened to the Flip 5. I was impressed by the bass quality and loud sound output. The price was reasonable to me. I thought the sound should be good at home. It was easy to pair to my cellphone. I used a music equalizer app called Poweramp which I think is one of the best for android phones. It makes the JBL Flip sound fantastic for a little speaker. I discovered you can if you want a different listening experience just flip the speaker over to the side that doesn’t show the JBL logo. You can hear more high end sound with a nice mix of bass. I’m satisfied. I found a good buy. Thanks JBL.
