My elementary aged son has been primarily using the Hoverboard and he loves it! He picked up how to use it in record time! He thinks it’s fun that it plays music (it’s bluetooth paired to my phone) and scoots all over the place. The sound for the music element is decent; could be more clear but my guess is due to the need to be durable some of that quality is compromised–works for the purpose intended though. It’s water resistant so we don’t have to worry about it being outside during moderate weather. It is physically heavy so when he’s changing locations we do move it for him. The app is nice because I can control the level (for us we like it on beginner!) and can customize the lights to for something fun for our son! Because the device can be dangerous if not used properly, it isn’t something we will be letting the neighborhood kids just try but it’s fun for our own personal use.

When pulling the Hover 1 from the box we first noticed how solid and well-built it was. It came charged for immediate use, along with easy to follow instructions for proper care.
The sleek black /grey color combination and chrome wheels made it feel sporty and edgy. Before riding the Hover 1 we downloaded the app which was very easy to learn and navigate. The led graphics and blue tooth speakers are entertaining and eye catching, a definite must for all hover boards.
Riding for the first time we noticed how much more smooth and quiet it was compared to other hover boards. The alerts for low battery and fully charged battery make for safe and simple operation for all ages.
The overall experience with Hover 1 has been constant fun and entertainment. If there was one drawback it would be that battery drains quickly with all the Hover 1 options being utilized at once.

Purchased this for a add on to my Darth Vader costume for Halloween, figured I’d get rid of it afterwards, but after using it and seeing how fun it was I figured to keep it and the grandkids can ride it, I’m an old guy and pick it up in five minutes, great product!

Great product. Seems to be well built and has withstood some abuse from my son (10 years old) and his buddies. Holds a pretty good charge considering how much it is used. Hasn’t blown up so that’s a huge plus!

The HYPE Hover-1 is a very solid, high performing hover board. It is ready to go right out of the box and the Hover-1 app gives you additional information such as speed and allows you to toggle among the three skill modes: Beginner, Intermediate, and Expert. It took me about 15 minutes to figure out how to fully balance on the scooter before I moved up from Beginner to Intermediate and still haven’t made it to Advanced – there really is no need for me to go there. But my 11-year old was on Advanced in no time, spinning circles in the drive way and leaning back and forth like a pro. The weight of the board makes it feel like a sturdy product and we haven’t had any issues with battery life. The LED lights glow very bright at night and are a nice added feature. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone looking to purchase a hover board.

I bought this to be able to ride with my children as I exceed the weight limit on their hoverboard. This hoverboard is able to handle my weight, provide plenty of battery power to ride as long as I want to ride, and has not been too difficult to adjust to. Good features like bright led lights that can flash in different patterns and colors, Bluetooth speaker to listen to while riding, and an app that shows battery percentage as well as digital odometer in the app. Would recommend this product. I have ridden it over 15 miles and am still enjoying it.

I bought this hover board for my daughters 9th Birthday. I did not know what to expect or how intuitive or not the product was. Based on other reviews I pulled the trigger. My kids absolutely love this hover board. It is smooth, quiet, and well built. There does not seem to be much of a learning curve for the younger generation, but for those that are older it does take a little more practice!

We love the colors of this Hoverboard! It’s really a nice looking board. It also has the ability to go pick up good speed, which our kids love. It feels like a quality board. We paired the bluetooth music up to it and the sound is pretty good for being a protected speaker. The music makes it even more fun for the kids to “dance” around on it

My son loves it. For the most part it’s good. But battery probably starting to wear out already and doesn’t run quite as fast. It still works but kinda sluggish. Just used it at home hard floor surface so I dunno how it’ll far outside where it’s concrete. Overall a good buy.

My two grandchildren 8 and 11 easily got the hang of this hover board! They were able to balance in just a few minutes of getting on. Has enough power to challenge them as they get more confidence. Great purchase!
