I use these for primarily for work (attending virtual meetings) but also desired a quality solution for recreation (streaming movies and music). Previous experience with Bluetooth devices (LG, Taotronics) was frustrating because of unreliable connection and sound quality. Having Apple devices, I decided to explore higher priced devices. Compared PowerBeats with AirPods 2 (my wife has a set) and decided PowerBeats more versatile for variety of uses. Excellent sound quality. Reported by others that my voice quality on calls is clear without distortion. After some experimentation with different ear tips and adjusting loops, found them to be comfortable for long periods. Battery lasts 2 full working days of conversations (15 hours as advertised). Quick charge for extra hour is nice feature to extend in a pinch. Pairing first to iPhone XsMax could not have been easier. They were immediately available to all iOS and Mac devices registered to my Apple account. Switching between devices without error is straight forward. Connection/hand-off behavior is similar to AirPods. Range covers practically entire home.

I have had beats before, but never the wireless ones like these. I have to say the sound quality is excellent, the bass is very strong and the sounds are crisp and clear. The battery life is really long and charging is quick. The ear pieces needed to be adjusted, but it was very easy.
Super comfy.. Now my only problem is keeping them away from my husband, he will be getting a pair for Christmas in his sticking;)

Purchased these for my college student son and he loves them! He uses them to work out and since he is dorming, with two others in a room, he can listen to music without disturbing the others.
The sound is great and the external sounds are minimized, but not totally blocked. I woukd highly recommend these !

My time with the Beats have been good so far! I initially was a bit worried about the fit, they started to hurt my ears when wearing them. However, they hurt less and I’ve kind of “wore them in” with working with them outside gardening and taking them for runs. They don’t fully seal in your ears, kind of like AirPods, so you don’t get that full isolation like other earbuds. However, for what I use them for, I need to hear a bit of the background noise so it works for me! I also appreciate the ease of switching between Apple products and having the whole IOS interaction.
Overall, I’ve enjoyed these headphones since my purchase and hope to use them for awhile!

Sound quality is far superior to the Samsung version of AirPods, and thank God it doesn’t fall out like AirPods do. That was a constant issue. Bluetooth connectivity is good to the car, laptop and other devices and the mic works well on videoconferencing apps like WebEx and Teams. Sound quality is far superior on these critical apps. It took me a while to get used to fast forwarding and reversing on the right Beats button but using Bixby (who knew?) it works well with Android products. With Apple it works well with Siri. The lack of the fifth star is I think they could get the fit better. I think the earpieces need to shrink a bit more.

My son loves these. It’s the 3rd pair we’ve bought….maybe I should have gotten the extra warranty. His dog likes them too 🙁 I wish Beats made a case to store them in (besides a little bag).

Son loves them but the plastic piece on the ear phone is fragile and only replaceable with the extended Apple warranty. This was a replacement purchase for one less than a year old.

I had used airpods for about 1-1/2 years and one would not charge properly. So, looking at a replacement brought me to these. Sound is good. Operation is simple. And the main thing, I can take them out and drop them to my shoulders when talking to customers. This helps them know I am only focused on what they have to say and improves that relationship.

I have small ears, this doesn’t fall out, it doesn’t feel like its stabbing you in the ears after hours and hours of listening. i had to buy because my apple headphones were stabbing into my little ears and literally making my ears red and swell. I like how easily it connects with my iphone. If I leave my phone on charge at one side of the house, I can be on the other side of the house and still listen to my music because it reaches it. this bluetooth connection is strong. the over ear part is like somewhat bendable, if you bend it to fit it to your ear then it will stay like that until u bend it a different way, its not flimsy but it is soft on your ear. it shows how to bend/adjust the over ear part it in the instructions. I don’t leave reviews like this but I am honestly so happy with it. I spent a long time looking into which ones to buy and I always make sure to read the worst reviews before I buy something so I can know what would be the worst case scenario, but this was a good purchase. It lasts 15 hours for one hour of charge so i could wear these all day if I wanted to. I have to wear headphones a lot because of work, I can wear them all day no problem, no pain in my ears at all. the microphone is really good on these too because I can talk on the phone with a thick mask on and my voice will still go through. I even bought this for my mom who has larger ears and she likes it a lot and it fits her perfectly, she uses it all the time.

This Bluetooth “on-ear” wireless headset is engineered to fit somewhere between the Beats Pro “true wireless” headset and the Beats Power3. It is very much like the latter, except that it uses the Apple headset chip that allows fast connection to Apple products, and does so much more easily than the Powerbeats3 (the same technology used by the Beats Pro, the the Airpod and the Airpod Pro). Unlike the Powerbeats3 (which uses a micro-USB cable), it uses the standard Apple Lightning connector. Getting it to work with an Apple product (e.g. iPhone, iPad or iPad Touch is thus a lot smoother. Whether the sound quality is any better is debatable. Reviews that I read before purchasing it said it is, mine ears say they are about the same. The fit of the news hook around your ears may be superior, although I think even that is debatable. However, the connecting cable between the two ears is intended to hang around the back of the neck, rather than in front (as was the case with the PowerBeats3), and I think this is a more sensible design. The Beat Listed at $150, it is $50 less expensive than the PowerBeats 3, and $100 less expensive than the Beats Pro (although the latter has routinely been discounted to $199, while the former is now being sold at well under $100). Considering that $150 was the original pricing of the BeatsX, a much inferior product, I think the new Powerbeats a good buy.

As a V-Moda fan boy I have to say I am impressed! For anyone who wants to know these have the same 12mm drivers and the pro version. I have been nothing but impressed since I got them. I returned a pair of my V-Moda bassfit for these and have not regretted it one bit. I was not a fan of any of the Beats over the ear headphones but these Powerbeats have me seriously impressed and work seamlessly with my iPhone. I picked these over the pro because of the battery life and the fact I can actually turn them off with out having to charge them. Perfect for anyone who is active and likes working out indoors and outdoors.I think they are worth every penny at full price and if you can catch them on sale or price match even better!

The sound quality, into my ear has been great & I have used them for indoor workouts consistently for the last 9 months. I owned the previous generation, and despite the previous pair dying after 11 months….i think they were better. I have a couple issues with these, leading me to use them far less….and now am on the search for a new set. My issues are with phone calls, comfort & wind.
1. These are almost useless for making phone calls, no one can ever hear me when I have both ears “in”, when I keep one ear in my audio out is spotty. I would guess the placement of the microphone might be the issue, on my previous beats set the mic was on the cord, a few inches down from the ear (I think).
2. Outside/windy workouts cause me to need the volume way up, something with the design is not aerodynamic & despite having a good fit there are issues.
3. The fit isn’t as good as the last generation…maybe the rectangular housing was angled differently, but these just aren’t as comfortable. It’s really minor, because everyone will fit differently…but it is an issue I’ve had with them.
I wanted to love these, was hoping I would have the same quality/multiuse abilities as the last pair….but I just don’t.

Good sound quality and I appreciated the different size earbuds to find the best one for me. But still find them uncomfortable if wearing for more than ~ 45 min. Also appreciate the long use time between recharges.
Edge –
we all know beats are one of the tops brands when it comes to headphones but for working out these are great headphones the sound quality is amazing and i would highly reccommend these wireless headphones
Jess –
Easiest connection ever!
Sound is clear.
Stay in place during my runs in the 94% humidity.
Not certain why the white selection of color was 20 dollars more than the black.. but easier for me to find so paid up.

These headphones are great for walking or working out. Sometimes I have problems connecting but overall it works great.

bought these to replace my older beats. I love the push button talk feature on the right side. These seem more durable than my Powerbeats 3 that broke on me 2 years after I purchased them.
Sleekteust –
I’ve used for 10+ hours while running and still have not recharged. These are my first pair of wireless headphones. I’ve used wired Bose Sport headphones — sound quality of Dr. Dre are either as good as Bose or very close. I cannot comment on controls as I use my iWatch to change song and volume. I really don’t even notice the wire against my neck while I’m running. I’ve got the red pair just in case they fall off on the forest trail while running — but these are super secure. No problems with these staying on my ears while running.
Dbeatmaker –
These are not bad at all. Although I do think they could be cheaper and also the bluetooth distance could be farther. I’d still recommend these, especially if you can grab them on sale
Big shark –
Work as they say, 2nd pair, I use to do very active workouts, lift/run. I have no complaints, fear for active workouts.
Nette –
they are awsome for work. i am movong arou d alot and donr have to worry about losing them
Kim –
Absolutely love the sound quality. Comfortable to wear, easy to pair with other devices.
Baker –
It’s the best headphones I’ve ever bought, I’ve owned two Boss headphones before these and are far more superior in sound quality as well in comfort and ruggedness.
Chloe –
There is only one thing i would like to change, the earbuds easily fall off, I mean the actual rubber pieces, not while I am wearing them do they fall out, but when I take them off it can be annoying to have to find the bud or just worry that if they are slightly grazed they will come off, again a small worry, but still honest.
Sammie –
Purchased to replace my Powerbeats3 which didn’t last as long as I’d hoped (the microphone went out)
The new headphones work really well and they are an improved take on the old ones offering no microphone in wire to go out.
