I was looking to purchase the MacBook Pro but the one I wanted has been out of stock for quite sometime. I did some research and realized that I didn’t need all of the bells and whistles of the MacBook Pro and I thought the Air would be just fine. It has worked really well for me. I am currently getting my MBA and my Personal Training and Nutrition Certifications and it has worked well for everything I need. I also LOVE pictures and it’s fun to play with my pictures on here as well. Nice computer, especially for the price.

Cutting straight to the chase, the form factor, build quality, new keyboard, and portability of this laptop is a cut above the rest.
The latest model of the MacBook Air is a nice step up in hardware hindered by higher expectations And heavy work loads.
If you are a casual MacBook Air user I think this is a great laptop. The problem arises when you consider the price tag Performance you associate with that price range in 2020.
Sure this is the cheapest MacBook Air ever BUT only with an i3 and it’s nearly the same specs as the previous generation.
Youtubers were quick to recommend the i5 version as it offered 4 cores which is stellar for such a thin laptop. However a few days later everyone hit the brakes.
Why? For me personally I work in IT I keep up with the latest tech albeit processors, graphics cards, etc. The i5 in the MacBook Air is almost identical to Microsoft’s Surface Laptop 3.
The Surface 3 can handle light gaming, heavier workloads, and it sports a really nice metal build just like the MacBook Air i5. And it’s Cheaper!
If you run a tool that monitors the processor temp, this thing hits 100c almost constantly if you’re running anything demanding. Granted that will not break the laptop but you can expect a shorter lifespan than others on your $1100-1300 laptop!
I suspect Apple really wants you to fork out the extra money for a MacBook Pro which they have every right to do. It just hits a tipping point of is it really worth it.
The majority of users I suspect will but this model for the space and won’t do much more than email, internet, and YouTube and or Nexflix. That’s really the limit of what you can do as it is, you’re just paying a hefty price tag and if you have the money enjoy.
But for those that say the i5 processor with the G7 Integrated graphics that runs fairly impressive on the Surface Laptop 3, this isn’t even close. The chip throttles so much and can’t even limit gameplay to 30fps and get it smooth enough. The previous MacBook airs seem to do around the same if not better. Plenty of videos online showing this processor throttles all the way down to last gen performance with slightly better battery life.

I got this for my husband. He doesn’t use a lot of programs (but the Mackbook Air can handle them). He mostly does Facebook, looks up parts for his equipment, and minor things. So most computers would work. However, we are finding the quality of some of those “most” computers just don’t start to compare to a Mac. I have used a MacBook Pro for 10 years and love my Mac. No problems ever. He has been thru 2 computers on the last 7 years. It may be him, but I think this Mac will solve the problem. and Microsoft Windows 10, oh my goodness, horrible. I do believe that was the major problem. Love my Mac and I think he will love his!

I’ve wanted a MacBook for a while now and I couldn’t decide which one to get. But once I saw this one in store and the associate described all the details about it, I knew this was the one! It’s super fast, the transitions are smooth, and it connects to your phone if you have an iPhone. What more could you want? I definitely recommend! If I could give ten stars I would!

I lovvveeee Apple products. I was going to originally get the refurbished 2019 MacBook Air from the Apple website because I didn’t want to send over $1000 on a laptop. But when I seen that Bulkra had a Memorial Day sale going on, I decided why not splurge. And I was getting it on sale so it was a win win. But I love my MacBook. The only complaint I have is that sometimes it freezes while I’m on safari and it won’t let me click anything if I’m on a website for too long. But other than that I absolutely love it. And I received it in 3 days.

I have been really in love with my new MacBook. everything that I have ever needed in a computer and then some. The battery lasts an impressive amount of time, even with heavy use. I liturly pulled it out of the book and within 10 min had it fully up and running, straight into a 1500 word essay. I use it to lay down some guitar tracks in garage band and build bible studies.

By far one of the best purchases I’ve ever made. I can’t get over how easy it is to us. Perfect for school and work. Not to mention fast shipping received it the next day in the morning without paying any shipping!!

I’ve been a fan of Apple products for a long time, and after several iPhones and iPads, I finally decided to take the plunge when my old Lenova laptop started showing signs of age and hard drive failure. Now, I don’t know what I was waiting for, and I wish I would have gone MacBook a long time ago! It is so smooth, so intuitive, so fast, and easy to get used to. I was also afraid of having to get used to the Mac after years of Windows usage, but I find that going between my Mac and my work computer, which is Windows based isn’t as difficult as I thought it might be. The build and features are incredible, and the relative cost vs a similarly equipped Windows laptop is not that much.

I was expecting highly of it and for the price it is well worth it. I bought it for my wife to do school work and now I’m buying one for myself because I’m jealous

Got this for my daughter as her bday gift and she loves how slim and easy to use it is.

This 2020 model is lighter, faster, bigger memory and SSD drive. Battery life seems better, too, even though had just replaced the 2011’s battery. Not as many external connections, but added a multi connector box/ charge port for around $35 And gained more connections including HDMI. Good model to look at as possible alternative to MacBookPro depending on usage needs. We have both in house, the Pro for a son who does high level music production for his college classes and the Airs, one for wife and one for daughter for word processing, zoom, videos, etc

I currently have a 2013 iMac and a 2016 MacBook Pro. To this day they both run like they are brand new. So when my dad needed a new laptop how could I not go up with another Mac. This MacBook Air is great. It’s lightweight and everything I expected. Of course it is probably way too much computer for my dad, but Macs have been so reliable for me over the last 7 years. He already loves how user friendly it is and the fact that his iPhone and his laptop are now Inter grated.

I am so happy I have not rushed my purchase and settled on the 2019. I am very PLEASED with my purchase, and the fact it is Open Box…it is just as great as if it were not. I highly recommend, and I HAVE NO ISSUES with it. If you are struggling with picking between this and the i5 , I say this one is fantastic. I was doubtful because I wanted to run the Sims and it runs smoothly. Overall, this was the best purchase I have made over this quarantine.

I have had 3 Mac laptops, the one the Mac Air replaced was from 2012 and could not open a few programs that I need. That Mac had lasted 8 years so I only wanted a new Mac. I also knew that for one to last several years I wanted the most recent a 2020. I love this Air. It is so light weight that it is replacing my Ipad. I do all of our household finances on line and this is very comfortable in my lap. The speed is great for my needs. I also follow the national and state news on line. I am a 76 year old that loves all Apple products. Apple watch, I phone and I pad. This laptop is the best device so far.

So much like everything it has it’s good and bad things. All reviews I’ve read on this laptop are all 5 stars saying how great but no REAL reasons..
I do think it’s a great laptop.I’ve only had it for about a week but does what I need. Here are a few goods and bads about it.
My first bad important thing is the battery, for the money, to ME it’s not great. It was at 100% at 9AM and around 3:30PM (that SAME day) it was at 5% warning me to please charge. Understanding, I’m working from home (due to the virus which I work in an office environment) I’m not working with crazy programs but sure, I’ve got a few things going at once. Maybe MY expectations were higher especially with it being the price and make/model it is I expected more. In all.. yes it works, does it well but be sure to have your charging cord with it which I’ll add is quite long for Apple – in my opinion. 🙂
Be aware this model only comes with 1 headphone port (which isn’t flat like the new iPhones are coming..?..and 2 thunderbolt ports 1 of which is your plug in to charge your computer.., myself I bought a multi adapter that gives me extra ports. From my research, MOST computers seem to be coming this way even if it’s regular USB either way – something to take note of.
No disc drive either which for most people I’d imagine that’s fine again, a lot don’t seem to come with this anymore.
Touch ID – This feature is a blessing and a curse LOL
So everything now a days seems to have some sort of save password feature so this isn’t odd and once everything is set up for normal use, LIFE SAVER! However! I’ve found I still need to keep and updated and handy list of information because everything is saved.. when you need to manually log in (which it still allows you to use it however YOU see fit) I’m not going through hoops to reset or find my info to actually log in.
I like when you open the computer it turns on and boots up fast. Couple mins and I’m ready to work! The keys feels nice and it’s backlit.
So yes.. overall, it WILL do what you want. Everything has it’s good and bad features. I’d still recommend it.

This is a great macbook air! Very light and works pretty well for light to medium use. I am typically running email, Excel or Word, and 10-15 web pages at any given time and haven’t experienced any sluggishness. I only start to notice things slow down when I’m using Photo, but my photo library is pretty big and sits on a separate 4T hard drive so I don’t necessarily fault the laptop. If you buy the laptop, I recommend buying a USB adapter hub so you have additional USB ports. With the laptop only coming with 2, of which one is usually used for charging, it’s pretty limiting without an additional hub. Overall, it’s a great laptop at this price point.

We had this MacBook for less than 2 weeks when we began to notice tiny circles on the screen when the computer was both on and shut down. At first we thought it was dust but then realized it wasn’t and that more began to appear as time went by. We searched the issue and were immediately overwhelmed with articles indicating that this is a recent problem among many MacBook models. Apparently it has to do with the anti-reflective coating on the screen. In any event, this is an Apple issue, not Bulkra. Bulkra’s customer service was excellent and we were able to seamlessly exchange for a new one and are hoping it was a defective product.

I needed a new computer for my place & thought about a MacBook to manage emails & some personal stuff like music & I love this MacBook really easy to use & get things done very quickly & efficiently looks very professional, performs pretty good. I don’t really need a lot of memory or for anything except the ordinary stuff I don’t program, hack, or engineer things I just wanted something good & reliable to use & own & show off a little I really enjoy it. Only thing that kind of negative of this MacBook is it doesn’t have like a regular USB port so I can plug in a flash drive & upload or download some important email information I would need or like my resume and stuff for work, interview, or meeting.

All in all, the new Macbook Air for 2020 is a capable machine for everyday tasks.
Unboxing: Apple’s traditional unboxing experience applies to this device. The unboxing experience is first class.
Screen: A beautiful retina display that gets pretty bright, bright enough for any indoor situation as long as you’re not in direct sunlight. Outdoors, the device is still usable. The nits are close to 400 nits, which is less than the Macbook Pro.
Performance: The Macbook Air dual core i3 performed well for basic tasks/web browsing, however, heavier tasks like Photoshop, Video editing, and heavy development and the Macbook Air does get pretty warm, and could throttle under heavy loads. This machine is capable of basic tasks/basic photo editing, but larger projects with more layers and it struggles. Heavy editing is not the goal of the Macbook Air.
Battery Life: Excellent. Running the screen at very bright levels will make it deplete quicker as well as intensive tasks, but overall it is very good should last you most if not all day.
Build Quality: Very good, another strength of the Macbook line, it has a very sturdy and premium feel.
Keyboard: Much better this year vs the butterfly keyboards of last year, more travel, more reliability, and excellent back light make this keyboard awesome to use.
Trackpad: Best in the business, the force trackpad is large and very responsive, gestures work great and you can click anywhere on the track pad.
Overall, the Macbook Air is a good device as long as you’re not expecting too heavy of workloads, if you’re constantly doing heavier tasks, the Macbook Pro is a better choice, but overall this is an excellent device.

This computer is perfectly suited for the everyday tasks of students and business people alike. It’s great for running Microsoft Office apps, sending emails, internet browsing, listening to music/watching movies, etc. 8GB of ram is enough for like 10-15 Safari tabs (stay away from Chrome, it’s an epic memory hog) without any problems.
If you’re planning on doing any photo/video editing or using other CPU intensive apps, just do yourself a favor a spend a little extra cash for the quad-core processor. Any MacBook Air is going to run hot with these kinds of tasks, but that REALLY isn’t what they’re built for anyway.
Overall, the MacBook Air is in my opinion the best “ultrabook” you can buy. You’re getting a full-fledged desktop operating system with the legendary portability of an Apple product.
p.s. the new (actually old) magic keyboard on this machine is MILES better than the old butterfly apple keyboards!

I purchased this MacBook for editing content for my YouTube channel and so far I love it. Only downside is a lot of the apps I use to treachery progress isn’t offered / support on macOS so that’s a bummer. Other than that I love it so far. I’ve only had it for a day and I’ve put the baby to the test.

This is my second MacBook, I am upgrading from a 2017 MacBook Pro mainly because Apple finally decided to go back to scissor switch keyboards which are much better than Apple’s butterfly keyboards. I like this MacBook much better than the Pro because of this keyboard, I am also glad I decided to go with an air this time over the pro because I am not exactly a pro user. I use this laptop mainly for school work(lots of google docs and some zoom), watching shows, music, and lots of web browsing. It works amazing for what I need it for and the battery life is phenomenal, I would say I get about 4 hours more out of this than I did with the 2017 Pro, even when it was new. Also the Gold color looks perfect!
