We looked at several refrigerators before deciding on this one. The salesman was very honest with us and told us he hadn’t really heard anything bad or good with this fridge because it is newer to the market. We have had it for several weeks now and are very impressed.

We need a big refrigerator for our church. They were looking into buying a commercial size refrigerator. I said let’s look into something nice, affordable and economical. I receive emails from Best Buy all the time and ran to the store look around made a video to show the others and we decided then and there to purchase this product.

We bought this fridge sight unseen. We wanted a fridge with water inside not in the door. And had a small budget. This fudge has everything we wanted. Lots more room then the side by side.

Has good amount of space, the water and ice both work great so far the only issue is the seal on the left side is now making a hard sound when closing almost like it’s about to break off so may want to get that checked soon and it is kinda easy to get finger marks on the fridge but that can be cleaned but other than that this fridge is awesome.

Love the fridge but have a few items to point out.
1. The water dispenser inside is difficult to activate, we have to move our cups all over to find the sweet spot to activate it. The position makes it hard to try and use a finger to press and we end up with water all over.
2. The ice dispenser fills up and can overflow over the back of the freezer drawer when pulled out.
3. The freezer drawer was scraping the bottom of the fridge drawer and marking up the finish. Service coming out to look at it.

So far so good! Very quiet keeps everything cool. Modern and sleek look without exposed handles. Our only knock is it is not fingerprint resistant. Very impressed with Insignia, we have multiple TV’s and small appliances made by Insignia.

I waited to write this review to actually give it some time and see how it would work out. When I was first looking for a fridge I wanted something at least 23cu ft but looking at other brands they were almost double what I paid for this one. I wasn’t expecting to find a fridge at Best Buy but we did so far I have only had one issue. And that’s if the power goes out that you need to reset the temp or it will go to the default which I think is 45. But other than that it’s a great fridge plenty of space and is easy to look it hope this helps someone out

I had my refrigerator for less than two weeks but right at the beginning the left door makes a loud click noise when I close it. This is the side which has the door seal. I found out that the door seal is not fully press when the door is closing which makes the loud click. Anyone going in and out of the refrigerator can hear it closing from every room in my house. This seems to be a design flaw. I’m surprised no one mention this in any of the reviews.
I might just have the defective refrigerator. Also it takes quite a bit of pressure in order for the doors to close, this is not ideal for small kids going into the refrigerator. They have the potential to leave it open.

I got this fridge open box for a great price for more than 50% of the regular price. Overall I am pleased with the fridge especially because other refrigerators with similar features would have cost a whole lot more. It is very quiet and the lighting inside is perfect. Controls are easy to use and I like it’s sleek look. I only have a few concerns/issues:
1. The refrigerator doors are slightly off center however it is only noticeable when you are up close. However because the doors are off center the top of the freezer door scraps up against the bottom of the metal bracket holding the refrigerator door – not a big issue for me just annoying.
2. I also believe there may be a design flaw because the long bottom drawer in the fridge gets off track when the 2 drawers above are full or “too heavy”. This happens every time I have to open the long bottom drawer. Again not a big issue just annoying.
Overall I would buy this fridge again even with the 2 issues noted above.

I just received this today and so far I’m impressed. The stainless is nicer than the pictures let on, I purchased this sight under and hoped for the best and wasn’t disappointed. It has a similar grain/appearance to Samsung and the sides are a medium gray. The sides and front are magnetic though I can’t imagine why you would cover the front of this being a french door it would clutter easily.
There is a generous amount of space in it with 4 half width, adjustable, glass shelves and a full width on the bottom just above the vegetable drawers. It just barely fir through our 36″ entry door. There wasn’t more than 3/16″ to spare so keep that in mind. We moved up from an 18cu ft and there’s so much empty space now but I’m sure we’ll find a way to fill it. The water filter is easy to access though it could be a bit of a reach if you aren’t too tall. There is manual control to disable the ice maker, but oddly not for the water to keep kids from making a mess.
All drawers including the main section and the sliding shelf in the freezer are easily removable if you happen to have major spill. The door storage shelves are not height adjustable but are removable. I found no issue with them as all containers fit, gallon jugs, 2 liters, juice, etc. The main compartment of the freezer has a divider that allows for 3 positions, I’ll likely just remove it to allow larger items to easily fit and use the sliding shelf for organizing. A little tip, the divider is secured by a screw on the front and back which requires you to remove the lower freezer tray so be sure to do so before filling it up. I learned the hard way. I’m guessing it’s to secure during shipping as it holds in fine without them.
The lighting is a cool blue/white and has a fade to on feature so it likely won’t blast you in the face at night. The controls are all digital at the top center of the unit. Freezer temperature is adjustable all the way down to -12 on the super freeze setting and the fridge is 35-47F. It got cold quickly, to my set temp within 2hrs. It is much more quiet than the Whirlpool top mount it replaced.

This is a simple refrigerator and although I wanted more features the price difference was more than double for other refrigerators. This one differs in one way: the sizes are a beautiful laser cut pattern as best that I can tell. Even the $3500 KitchenAid had a very boring, typical textured pattern on the side. This refrigerator is just more beautiful on the outside. Lighting is decent and the LED has a nice effect where it turns on slowing until it reaches full. I like that and I saw that on the KitchenAid. For a reference, KitchenAid is far more beautiful on the inside and it features more lights. The storage on this is exceptional! It seems to be twice as large as our old refrigerator. I love that I don’t have to bend over to pull any food out- even the freezer! Everything is eye level or can be seen from top down. From every company that we shopped, this one at BestBuy appears to be the best deal. Exceptional quality and design.

We had a 15yr old Samsung bottom freezer/fridge in our washroom that has server us well. Over the years 3 moves, 3 kids along with nieces and nephews, the thing took a beating. Broken handles, drawers, freezer basket, door gaskets all broken. Price them, all way to expensive. Wasn’t gonna throw out the fridge, it worked great. Mainly used for drinks and left overs. Went to the Outlet center just to look around, scratched and dented, old floor displays, and warranty repair unit. I paid $498 for this fridge. No missing parts just some cosmetic blemishes on the front door. Regular price is about $1700.

Everything is so easy to see/find, and the way to organize this fridge is endless. The interior light is initially soft and gets brighter. The controls on the top are easy to follow, such as turning the ice maker on/off or boosting the cooling of the fridge or freezer. I love the sleek look with no handles and the fact the ice maker and water dispenser are inside keeps the look smooth. Finger prints come off easily with just a simple wipe with a microfiber cloth. If you want a refrigerator that’s pretty basic, this one will make it feel like it’s more than basic, but keeping it simple. Believe it or not, our 19 cubic ‘ Amana side-by-side is 28 years old and still works. We couldn’t believe the sale of this 26.6 cubic ‘ fridge and jumped on it. It’s changed the entire vibe of our kitchen AND gaining an extra almost 7 cubic ‘ of fridge space was needed for many years. I’ll never get another side-by-side fridge again–you can’t see/find anything. It’s all stacked in front of each other. This freezer also has a split bottom drawer, and a sliding top drawer, which is where the ice tray is. LOVE this fridge!
